Pyongyang, December 4 (KCNA) -- The newly developed micro-filter membrane is popular among the users.
It is a highly efficient filtering material which filters and separates microorganisms and impurities in liquid or vapor in high accuracy.
Medical scientists have developed the highly efficient micro-filter membrane and industrialized its production by their own efforts and technology.
The pores of the membrane, made with polymer which is strong against the heat and medicaments, are uniform in size.
The diameter of the pore being 0.2 micrometers, the speed of water transmission is very high and the rate of bacterial collection is nearly a hundred percent. The membrane effectively separates colon bacilli, dysentery bacilli, cholera germs, staphylococcus, tubercle bacilli, etc. and provides ideal sterilized water in an instant.
It also totally removes all the corpuscle and floating materials, thus making it possible to convert natural water such as water of rivers and reservoirs into good-quality drinking water.
Now the membrane and different shapes of filter devices using it are distributed among many units including pharmaceutical factories, foodstuff factories, hospitals and families.
